GAUSS Dataset Resources#

The GAUSS (Geoengineering Assessment Using Stratospheric Sulfur) dataset provides climate model simulations for solar radiation management (SRM) research.

Overview#

GAUSS contains climate model outputs from multiple Earth System Models (ESMs) simulating various geoengineering scenarios, including:

  • Control runs (no geoengineering)

  • Stratospheric aerosol injection scenarios

  • Multiple emission pathways and time periods

  • High-resolution climate variables

Key Variables#

Few climate variables are available in GAUSS.
